Charlotte & Gabe, New York

Last month I went to New York for Charlotte and Gabe’s engagement session. This is one of my favorite sessions ever in the city, and now I am so excited for their wedding this upcoming summer at Blackberry Farm. We started our time together over a few beers at Spitzer’s and then strolled through the streets of the Lower East Side where Charlotte and Gabe used to live.

I brought just my LOMO and Rollei which are my two favorite cameras for lifestyle sessions. Since I typically document these shoots alone, these compact cameras are easier to carry and make having bags or an assistant unnecessary. This in turn creates a spontaneous atmosphere for more personal moments.

Simone & Marc, City Hall

This past December Simone and Marc hired me to for their engagement session in NYC. They loved the photos and asked me to come back up for their Labor Day wedding weekend. On Friday they got married in front of family at the New York City courthouse and on Saturday they held a reception for 40 of their closest friends. Below are photos from their intimate ceremony! More to come from their Saturday reception.

Simone & Mark, New York

While in New York over Christmas I photographed Simone and Mark. They live in NYC and wanted their engagement photos to be taken in the evening around the city. After meeting for a couple drinks we walked the streets of Soho and later took the subway over to the Brooklyn Bridge. I love any session where the only film I bring is high speed black and white.
Enjoy.

Laura & Gabriel, Upper West Side

Gabriel chose to propose to Laura outside of Cafe Lalo, which was made famous by the movie, “You’ve Got Mail”. We started our session with some coffee and pastry at said cafe and then took a stroll over to Central Park to take more pictures. Here are my favorites.
