The print fulfilling company, Musea, recently made a short video called “Prints Matter” highlighting the importance of the physical image. We were honored that they wanted to document our studio’s printing process & our Found Frames wall for the first half of the film.
We are proud to announce a new offering for the upcoming holiday season. We have teamed up with Ragan House Lettering to create custom greetings & hand lettered designs for those interested in a uniquely beautiful holiday card. The cards will be printed on our fine art Hahnemuhle paper and then delivered in envelopes which we have hand lettered.
Contact us if you would like to for us to design a card or if you would like to set up a holiday photo session.
Every summer Lindsey and I get the wonderful opportunity to take some time off and travel to some of the most beautiful places in the world. This year we ventured throughout the Canadian Rockies and dipped into Montana to visit Glacier National Park. While there we took the Homemade Films camera with us on the trail and documented our hike, which was a grand total of 14 miles! We had a blast shooting the jaw-dropping scenery, the natural wildlife, and, of course, each other. Although the hike was difficult at times, I’m thankful we took the camera as the payoff was worth every bit of the work.
Diana & Sean’s New Orleans wedding was one of the most unique weddings I have had the privilege of photographing this year. The day began at Diana’s grandmother’s home where Diana prepared and spent time with her parents, siblings, nieces and nephews. The ceremony took place at the Audubon Park’s Labyrinth which Diana’s family had helped build. The Labyrinth was built after Katrina and stands as a symbol of hope for the New Orleans community to heal, to walk together, and to celebrate new life. Diana’s grandmother was the flower girl and her walker lined with flowers! The ceremony was followed by a second line to Swamp Exhibit at the Audubon Zoo for the reception. Sean & Diana were expecting a child (which was born this month!) and decided to have gender reveal during the cake cutting (the cake was blue!). They couldn’t have been happier to find out they were having a boy and celebrated well with their family and friends for the rest of the evening.
Enjoy my favorite images from this beautiful wedding. I look forward to photographing this lovely couple with their baby boy in the near future.
