If you have been following A Bryan Photo for a while, you will know how special Teryn and Steve are to us. Back in June of 2010, they flew us to Calgary to shoot their wedding. When we got there, they treated us like we had been friends forever and we have been friends ever since. We sent our first ever Homemade Films kit along with them on their honeymoon to Victoria, British Columbia. Because they were naturally such great shooters, their footage blew us away and set the tone for the future of Homemade Films. We we thrilled when they contacted us in December to tell us of their trip to Iceland and we found ourselves as excited to get their film back as if we had shot it ourselves.

This is, after all, the reason why we do Homemade Films. These moments are extremely special to Teryn & Steve that demand preservation. We can’t physically be there yet still feel we can help tell the story of their lives… the moments that are beautiful and quiet and moving and worth reliving over and over again.

We hope you enjoy these films as much as we do. To us life is beautiful, and we are happy to be a part of showing that to you.

Enjoy!

For the second leg of their honeymoon vacation, Julia & Nathan did a tour of the south. They stopped and visited our team at our studio in Birmingham, Alabama. Next they went to the beautiful Blackberry Farm by way of Chattanooga, stopping along the way to eat ice cream and walk about in the rain. Lastly, they ended in the Nashville and enjoyed the sights and sounds of the Music City.

If you think you have a fun idea for a honeymoon or vacation and would like to take our kit along, <a href="http://abryanphoto.com/contact.php>give us a shout.

Enjoy!

Julia & Nathan rented our Homemade Films camera to take with them on their Honeymoon. Because this was such a special trip and incredible moment in their lives, they wanted to capture it in a way that would help preserve it in their memories. For the first part of their honeymoon, they went to Miami, Florida to relax and enjoy the relief from wedding planning. Next week we will show you the continuation of their trip as the toured through the south, going through Birmingham, Blackberry Farm, and ending in Nashville.

We love their approach to shooting Super 8. They love having fun and it certainly shows through the footage. I personally love the track and think it adds to the quirkiness and charm of the film.

Enjoy!

Strangely enough, my wife and I had stayed in the exact same small hotel on the lake just three months prior.
This past summer my wife and I had the pleasure of visiting Italy for three weeks. Our time was spent eating incredible food, seeing breathtaking scenery, and experiencing an absolutely beautiful culture. Neither of us had been before so we took the Homemade Films camera along with us to document our trip. I shot and edited this film very differently than in the past. I wanted to create a great snapshot of the 22 day trip but also, and more importantly, remind us of how we felt.

This is without a doubt my proudest and most beloved film to date. I hope you enjoy.
