Every summer Lindsey and I get the wonderful opportunity to take some time off and travel to some of the most beautiful places in the world. This year we ventured throughout the Canadian Rockies and dipped into Montana to visit Glacier National Park. While there we took the Homemade Films camera with us on the trail and documented our hike, which was a grand total of 14 miles! We had a blast shooting the jaw-dropping scenery, the natural wildlife, and, of course, each other. Although the hike was difficult at times, I’m thankful we took the camera as the payoff was worth every bit of the work.
I’m always honored to document a wedding on Super 8. With Cullen being a member of the film industry, it felt that much more special. Enjoy this sweet and endearing film shot in Charleston at the William-Aiken House.
This spring, I had the opportunity to shoot Leigh & Matt’s wedding on her family property in the foothills of Tennessee. We love this film so much because we feel it represents our style perfectly; southern vibe, bright couple, beautiful atmosphere, & upbeat song. We have chosen it as the portfolio film for our site and are proud to show it here.

When shooting a reception on Super 8, I like to get as close to the action as possible. When I’m right in the middle of the dance floor, I get great interaction with the guests as they love being caught on camera. I feel the slightly sped-up and surreal nature of Super 8 also allows for a more fun way to relive the footage, especially when paired with an upbeat song.
Some of the best and most hilarious dancing I have ever seen was at Paige & Stodd’s wedding at Blackberry Farm, and I’m glad I was there to capture it. Enjoy six minutes of pure joy!
