Johnson Family, Thanksgiving

We spent this past Thanksgiving with my family in Atlanta. My wife, Ashley, loves to cook and volunteered to cook the entire dinner for 25 of my family members. My brother Craig’s wife, Kari, provided all of the decor for the meal. The combination of these two ladies’ talents created an incredible experience for everyone that won’t be forgotten.

Check out photos from our Thanksgiving two years ago.

Camp for a Summer

This is a follow up post to the Homemade Films of my family’s summer in New Hampshire at Camp Spofford. I primarily shot Super 8 throughout the summer but of course I managed to shoot some Rolleiflex & Holga. Here’s a few favorites of my kids.

Homemade Films : Johnson Family Summer

This summer I got the chance to take a break from photography and spend 8 weeks at Camp Spofford in New Hampshire. I worked at this camp several times while I was in college and I’ve always wanted to take my family back for a summer. An opportunity presented itself this past summer and I got to run the camp’s dining hall.
We had such a wonderful summer in the cool New England weather, meeting new friends and growing closer as a family. We loved it so much we may try and make it happen again.
