Captured on a Rolleiflex with black & white film.
I recently got the chance to take portraits of Emily & Meg (formerly) Daniel w/ their daughters in my Birmingham studio. I photographed Meg’s wedding in 2008 & Emily’s in 2009. I was excited when they approached me to do a session while Emily was down south visiting Meg. Hopefully a session in the near future can include the men of the family, but for now enjoy some Daniel girl joy.
All images captured on a Rolleiflex.
My session with Larkyn & Jim began on the rooftop of their apartment building in Greenwich Village. We then strolled the streets, hung out on the stoop of a Brownstone and finished over drinks at the quaint local bar, Bobo. My lovely afternoon with this couple got me very excited about their wedding in Birmingham this December.
All of the images were captured on a Rolleiflex.
This Saturday I get to photograph Emily & Damion’s wedding in New Orleans. But last month I flew to NOLA for a chance to get to know this cool couple and shoot some engagement pictures. We had a blast exploring the city, pausing for food and drink several times. I’m looking forward to their wedding this weekend!
Featured here are images from my recent spring shoot with the Birmingham based, Harrison Limited. For those that missed it, Harrison was recently featured in GQ’s fashion issue as one of “the top 25 men’s shops worth traveling for”. If you live in Birmingham, be sure to drop by and let Wilson measure you for a New England Shirt Co shirt or some Hertling trousers.
