Noah’s First Game

I couldn’t resist bringing my Rollei to Noah’s first tee ball game. It has been so fun to watch him fall in love with the game that I played growing up (and still enjoy playing today). I look forward to bringing my Rollei to many more games in the future, but this one will always be special.

Anne & Miller, Birmingham

I’m in love with this beautiful wedding that I had the pleasure of documenting in Birmingham last month. Anne & Miller both got ready at their parents homes before their ceremony at the beautiful St. Paul’s church. Anne and Miller dated in high school and luckily reconnected a few years after college. It was wonderful to witness the appreciation that these two shared with each other. I’m thrilled with how it came through in the film.

Homemade Films – Remy Grace Cagwin

Last month our previous wedding clients Emily and Monty reserved the Homemade Films kit to document the days surrounding the birth of their daughter, Remy. They knew that the last few weeks of pregnancy fly by and wanted to remember all that they did to distract from (or induce) labor. I love that this film highlights the mundane: doing laundry, cooking a meal, sleeping, walking, packing the car (or trying to). Those are the memories that tend to get lost but build the greatest anticipation. Creating a beautiful memory doesn’t have to be doing something that has never been done. It simply needs to be honest. We hope that is just the first of many honest and endearing films from the Cagwins.

Spring Fashion!

I recently got the chance to collaborate with a fun team of creatives from Nashville on some spring fashion. The creative direction and styling for the shoot came from the fabulous Caroline Brewer. Hair and makeup was done by Kirsten Pate and our model was Anna Atchinson.

Nothing like a personal shoot to kick off this great spring season.
