Film from the Jabu School, Day 1

The Jabu School photographs ended up being some of my favorite from the entire trip to South Africa. The kids were so lively and excited about their TOMS ( some so excited they didn't wear them, for fear of them getting dirty ). More to come.

My favorite set of images from the trip. I love the tangled swing set image, and the one of the Hanson brother sitting on the floor. It is so amazing how many pairs of shoes TOM's donated. Beautiful work as always.

I am a huge Hanson fan, and proudly took the walk with them in St. Louis. I'm very proud to be a fan of them, especially when seeing what a difference they are making for these incredible children.

Bryan, these look great! Any suggestions as far as medium format goes? I have an RB67, but my manual focusing abilities are pretty lame due to terrible vision problems. Have you used any of the 645AF's?

Very nice, Bryan. You seem to have done an exceptional job capturing the personalities of your subjects. I love the simplicity and joy in the colour photos of this set.

Beej,
I love the one of the mother/grandmother with the child in her lap. The lady is old and weathered and protective; the little girl hasn't got a care in the world. I think there's a lot of hope in that photograph.
