it is amazing what you guys and everyone who has donated has done so far. i hope you're able to sell all 10 framed prints. i'm sure many people who can't afford to donate that much will still donate. it might entice more people if you offered 16x20 prints unframed and unsigned for significantly less. it isn't about the money, i'm sure anyone would donate whatever they could.. but i think that would help to get everyone in the right direction. great job!

what you guys are doing is incredible, and i sincerely hope that you sell all 10 of these.

while we are on the topic, though, here is a suggestion...

quite a lot of fans are discussing this and how we all completely support what you're doing, but each and every one of those fans has said that they simply can't afford a print at that price. most of us are in college and paying our way through school from our own pockets...$750 is a heck of a lot of money. i'm sure that if you offered a print, perhaps without the frame (to save on shipping, and, of course, your costs) that you would be more likely to sell them. a quick survey between fans tells that we would be willing and overjoyed(!) to purchase these prints at a more reasonable price. for example...if you sold 50, at say, $100 a piece...that is $5,000 right there! of course, i don't know if this is possible, and if you are having no problem selling the 10 prints as they are, then pay no attention to this! i just thought i would let you know where we stand, and how you can help us help the school!

again, we all are very supportive of this cause, and we are more than thankful to have you and the band giving us updates, as most of us have purchased TOMS and/or your shirt, and it's nice to know where our money is going and how it is being put to good use.

happy thanksgiving to all of you.

I have a question =

There is a recent picture of the girls from the choir who sang on the "Great Divide", "Blue Sky" and also "Been There Before"

Have they heard the finished tracks with them singing on it, and also, have they, plus anyone who was in the "Great Divide" music video seen that?

I purchased one of the Limited Edition Prints. I hope all ten are sold soon!

Thank you Bryan (and Hanson) for presenting us all with great ways of donating to these children.

Your photos are amazing and capture the joy in that school so perfectly. :)

Happy Thanksgiving!

Wow!! Kelly, that's amazing! If I have the math right, you just paid to put a kid through school there for 3 years. Or put 37 kids through school for a month. That's so incredible!

I fell in love with the photo the first time I saw it and immediately wanted an enlargement for my own classroom... I teach 1st grade at a charter school. Unfortunately, teaching doesn't allow me to drop that much for a print, as much as I'd love to.

Please let us know if you will be offering standard enlargements for a lesser price (in other words, not signed, matted, or personalized.)

Thanks so much for all you are doing!

As of now, I can only donate $20, and I have to send a check through the mail since I don't have paypal, but I sent you an email earlier letting you know and I also asked where I should make the check out to. I think what you guys are doing is great, and I agree with what alot of people are saying...even if you reduced the size of the picture, got rid of the frame, and maybe still had Hanson sign it for a cheaper price, I think alot more people would be able to afford it. I myself am a student and $750 is so much money. But at $100 or less, I could probably get that as a Christmas present? just suggestions though =]

I just bought my shirt, and donated $20 as well.

I am so moved by all that you have accomplished in Africa. I'm also eternally greatful for the images you've given us - many of us will never have the opportunity to make such a direct impact, and take so much away from it.

Thank you, and God bless!

oh, and by any chance, could you tell me what the name of your studio is? Since you just said to send it to your studio and didn't leave a name? That would help immensely with sending the money through the mail.

An amazing idea for sure!! If only I had anywhere near that kind of money. But I still want to get a shirt. Can we still order them tomorrow (Friday) or this weekend, and have the money be included in the final gift? Thanks so much, you are all such wonderful people! Happy Thanksgiving <3

I just want to say thank you to you and all the hanson guys for providing opportunities for all of us to participate in such a great cause. In the last month or so with tom shoes and the things you are doing, i have been able to actually DO more things than i have done at any other period of time in my life. You guys are the tool for so many people to make a difference. Thank you for that and i hope the goal is reached! Please continue to let us know ways that we can help and good luck!

I wanted to also say that I agree with what everyone is saying about if its possible to do smaller prints without the frames for less. I think alot more people would be able to participate that way.Personally, I would love to buy a print to support the school, but 750 is just too much...just a thought! Or maybe something similar could be done if that isnt possible

I've been inspired by the Hanson fan's participation with raising that much money in a short period of time for the african children at the school and the willingness of those fans who are able to spend that kind of money on the 10 prints.

I myself don't have Paypal but I really wanted to help in donating to these beautiful children in your photo's. So I asked my son if I could donate through his Paypal account and he was Ok with it. So the money is on it's way.

There is a light of hope in the eyes of those children in your photo's even when they have so little.
So the Paypal from b.due... is actually from me.
Thanks for all your doing while there with Hanson and Happy Thanksgiving.

I think what you guys are doing over there is so wonderful! The pics are truly inspiring, especially with the way the world is today. I was just wondering though...any chance someone could design a t-shirt to raise money for the school that's more related to the cause? I really like the photoblog tee but I want people to know why I'm wearing something. So maybe a t-shirt, even with different designs drawn by the kids screen printed on front would be awesome. The more the cause is out there, the more money that can be raised. I think a screen print tee with different designs that the kids at the school make would be so great!

I agree with what a few people here have said... I think this an amazing cause and would love to help out. It's great that you have the option to donate any amount through paypal... but I think that if you offered a more affordable version of this print, it would be a more accessible & desirable option for young adults, and ultimately you'd make as much or more by getting a larger amount of people to donate.

I love that picture... If I could I would purchase one. The money you have raised in such a short amount of time, is simply amazing.

I did make a donation- like you said, every dollar counts.

It's so moving to see how many people are willing to help. You're blog and actions are really inspiring.

I'm actually planning a trip to South Africa this summer, so I'm really excited I stumbled upon your blog.

Hey Bryan-

Could you put one of those Hanson pics on a white t-shirt and sell those? I bet a lot of people would buy those- for $25 or $30 bucks? Let us know. I know we'd all love to buy the prints but, this could be a good option too. Blessings!

hanson- you have made my life so much better. I don't know what I would do without your music in my life the past 11 years. It's incredible. See you in Joliet!

i was so glad to hear/read about this opportunity to help. since i don't live in the US i wasn't able to take part in the walks and buy a pair of TOMS shoes even though i really, really wanted to.

i'm gonna spread the word and maybe i'll be able to get a couple of people to buy a shirt or donate some money as well.

please let us know if/how many of those prints you've sold as soon as you can get online.
i feel highly inspired at the moment and i'm very, very touched by everything that you guys have been doing so far.

this is exactly why i'm so honored to call myself a hanson fan even though it's STILL not "cool". ;)
i couldn't care less, i've never been happier in my life, i love that i'm able to help making an impact.

i'm positive that you guys will be able to donate those 10.000 bucks!

all the best,

I'm amazed, and wish all of you the best luck in reaching your $10,000 goal!

I am so happy that I'm able to afford one of the limited edition prints right now! I ordered mine yesterday. I'm so excited!

I think it's great that everyone is helping out as they're able. I would have never been able to afford a 750 dollar donation while I was still in college either.
