The Weekend of Weddings
This past weekend we had two amazing gigs, in South GA:
October 6th
Melissa and Jay
Albany Ga
Melissa's family lives on a farm and we shot all the formals there while shooting as little as possible acutally at the church (always a plus for me). The reception was at there home as well, so we returned there after the service to take Melissa and Jay's pictures. It rained during the reception but it didn't dampen the night at all ( Jeremiah and I had to rescue the wedding cake from the storm, I'm still patting myself on the back for that one.) They exited the evening with sparklers, which always makes for the greatest photos.
Here are a few of the digital:

Taylor and Daniel
October 7th
Sea Island Ga
I've been looking forward to this wedding for some time now. I've gotten to know these two well since booking their wedding and would honestly call them my friends. They both were an absolute delight to work with this weekend, continuously joyful and laid back. The film from this wedding is going to rock, and CANNOT wait to get it back. My new goal is to book a Sea Island wedding once a month from now on, it is a paradise.

awesome shots. looking forward to seeing more of them. and good to see you (if briefly) on sunday. hope james and i didn't make you miss any cake shots...
Love you shots! Wondering, are you mainly using a 50mm f/1.2? If so, I have to get one simular!
I shoot 90% of the time with a 50mm 1.8.
I love that lens! The 1.2 is on my current wishlist!

Chris, Great to see you as well. I made it to the cutting, no worries!
These are some fantastic shots! The couple looks like so much fun. I hope we have an opportunity to work together the next time you come down! Consider me a fan!
